Between
Friends/Signet Books 1997:
I had two things I wanted to writer about in this story: the first was racial
identity (the heroine, Dallas, is biracial), and friendship. Dallas has been best friends with Irish American beauty, Valerie, since they
were children. Alex, who is Italian, once saved Dallas’ life when she was a teenager. They all grew up in the same community. Now that
they are all grown up both women find that their friendship, as well as their racial differences, are called into question when they both
find themselves attracted to the same man, Alex. |
