THE FIXER is set on the Italian island of Sicily during an annual jazz festival.  The heroine is alone at her vacation resort on the Ionian Sea.  Deserted by her traveling companions, two girlfriends, who go off in pursuit of their own adventures, my heroine is left to make the most of her last few days in Italy.  Lured by a starry night, and music wafting to her from a nearly town, she meets a stranger on the beach.  The encounter will make her trip an experience beyond her wildest dreams.
