Dear Reader:
I love losing myself in the story and setting and characters, and the larger-than-life action on the screen. I love being in a darkened theater where (if someone’s cell phone doesn’t ring or a baby doesn’t start to cry) you take off on a great journey and almost feel like you’re part of what’s going on. That’s the magic of movie-making, and it’s exactly the same experience when I read a book. My imagination takes over and develops wings! In July my latest book, CELLULOID MEMORIES, was released from Arabesque/Kimani Press. It’s part of a four book summer reading series, and all the books are set in Hollywood, the ultimate land of make-believe. Read the story for the characters, and learn something about making dreams come true. Then, work on some of your own dreams. It’s never too late for them to become real.
This summer update of my website is all about
movies, and dreams, and believing. There are anecdotes and reviews and a contest
to win...a (home) night at the movies. Turn up the air-conditioner, make a bowl
of pop-corn, grab a cool drink...and turn out the lights! Sit back, and enjoy
the show. Sandra Kitt 1st July 2007
